Do You Want A Second Opinion?

Going through a divorce is an emotional upheaval and it isn’t uncommon to be concerned whether or not you are taking all the right steps. You may be frustrated by a seeming lack of progress. You may be confused by all the issues that have been raised and may not be completely comfortable with the explanations you’ve received.

You have the right to a second opinion and, in many circumstances, it is the best move you can make. By all means, have your case evaluated by an experienced Certified Matrimonial Law Attorney.

Karen Meislik, Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Matrimonial Law Attorney (one of fewer than 140), is available to give you a completely confidential second opinion. She can help put your mind at ease by explaining actions your lawyer has taken so far. She will help you ask the right questions, and identify issues that may have been overlooked.

Since your future emotional and financial well-being depends largely upon the outcome of your divorce, this is not a time to overlook any avenue that might lead to a better conclusion.

If You Decide to Change Attorneys

It is not uncommon for divorce clients to change their attorney in the middle of a case. Divorce is a serious matter and often a distraught participant gets started with an attorney who is not fully-equipped to handle the intricacies of the divorce process. You must be absolutely certain that your attorney has extensive divorce experience, is supportive, available to you throughout the process, and fully understands your needs.

If you DO decide to change attorneys, Karen Meislik will review the actions made to date, advise your previous attorney of the change, request your file, and process the change of attorney with the court.

There will be no delay in moving forward with your case.
